Live My Life

I have a life to live…
It doesn’t matter whether I’ll be rich and famous or not…
Whether I’ll suffice myself with all my earthly concerns or not…

I just want to be a person of worth…
I just want to be happy…
As one of my longest friends puts it…
“Happiness is a personal decision, best gift you can give to yourself,
a gift that nobody else can give nor take away.”

I want to enjoy life…
Though everything happens for a reason,
I just don’t want that day to come when I’m about to take my final bow…
That I regret not living my life to the fullest… That I simply existed…

I’d like my life to be worthwhile… meaningful…
I want to make a difference on someone else’s life…
or at the very least… MY life…

But I want to do it on my own…
No pressures, no stresses, no must-do’s nor should-be’s,
no unwelcome bosses nor coaches, no unjust comments, no pushing to the limits…

I just want to make things simple… and easy… not complicated…
I don’t want to be too hard on myself…
life is too short to live in pain and misery…

I just want to live my OWN life… not a life made for me…

And I know I CAN…
